Seoul Jung-gu District will host the 'Jeongdong Night Walk' on May 24th and 25th, a two-day event taking place around Jeongdong and Deoksugung-gil. This special cultural heritage night event commemorates the dreams of the Korean Empire and marks its 10th anniversary this year.
Since its inception in 2015, Jeongdong Night Walk has become a signature festival of Jung-gu District. This year's festival features major programs such as the Deoksugung Palace Night Concert, nighttime access to historical and cultural sites, and a stamp tour. Additionally, there will be sub-programs including Jeongdong walking tours and busking performances. Hands-on activities like becoming an Imperial Seal Keeper, assembling a 3D puzzle of Deoksugung Palace of the Korean Empire, and creating your own LED Hanji lantern are also available. Throughout the event, food trucks and art markets will be set up.
