Cheongdo Provence Light Festival: Experience French Romance in Korea Originally opened as Cheongdo Theme Land in 1996, the park was renovated and rebranded as Cheongdo Provence Photo Land in 2012, welcoming visitors with a new charm. This venue recreates the ambiance of Southern France's Provence region, adored by painters like Vincent Van Gogh and Paul Cézanne, allowing visitors in Korea to experience its beauty.
Under the brilliant sunshine, ripening grapes and expansive fields of purple lavender greet visitors during the day with over 100 diverse photo zones. As evening falls, the place transforms into a dazzling light festival, offering a different kind of beauty.
The festival runs from February 19 to November 17, 2024, located at 272-23, Iseulmi-ro, Hwayang-eup, Cheongdo-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do. The entrance fee is 12,000 KRW, applicable to both weekdays and weekends.
Enhance your trip with a visit to Cheongdo’s recommended eateries. Traditional tea house 'Verdant', 'Cheongdo Gamjatang' where you can taste the essence of Korean cuisine, and 'Roca Coffee' for a relaxing cup of coffee are all waiting for you.
Join us at the Cheongdo Provence Light Festival to enjoy both the romance of France and the flavors of Korea. Create special memories in this unique place where culture and art come alive.
