In the spring of 2024, the 47th Boseong Dahyangdae Festival, where you can experience the essence of Korean tea culture, will be held from May 3 to May 7 at the Korean Tea Culture Park in Boseong-gun. The festival will be held under the theme "The Seduction of a Thousand Years of Tea - Boseong's Proposal," and will feature a variety of programs and events to deliver the subtle taste and beauty of tea to participants.
Festivities in Boseong, the home of tea
Boseong County is the largest tea producer in Korea and the home of tea culture, and this festival is an opportunity to showcase the excellence of Boseong tea, as well as the history and culture of Boseong. In particular, the Boseong Tea Festival is a cultural tourism festival designated by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The festival offers a variety of tea-related programs, including an afternoon tea party based on Boseong tea, tea making, tea leaf picking, and the Boseong Tea Master Cup contest. Participants can experience the infinite transformations of Boseong tea by picking tea from the tea fields and roasting tea.

The Boseong Tea Festival has become an international festival that extends beyond Korea. The Korea Tea Culture Park operates representative tea culture centers in Boseong-gun and Hadong-gun, China and Japan, and other Asian countries, allowing participants to taste a wide variety of teas.
