The Yeosu Turtle Boat Festival is organized with various events at Yi Sun-sin Square and Seonso. The opening ceremony features the Jinhae-ru Military Conference Play, which blends tradition and modernity; an EDM go-go dance festival; a demonstration of the Navy's military band and drum corps; and a demonstration of the Navy's martial art of naked sit-swimming. The festival also offers new experiences such as the unveiling of the Coast Guard ship, and presents a variety of cultural programs that blend traditional art performances with modern music.

Experiences such as playing Jonggyeonggil, wearing Yi Sun-sin's armor, and archery provide children with the pleasure of experiencing history and provide opportunities to strengthen family communication and bonding.
