Once again, this year, the "2024 Changdeokgung Moonlight Tour" awaits you from April 11th to June 2nd, offering a unique opportunity to experience the beauty of Changdeokgung Palace under the moonlight. This event, available from Thursday to Sunday during the mentioned period, is a limited opportunity for participants to enjoy the splendor of the palace at night.
What is the Changdeokgung Moonlight Tour?
Held in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Changdeokgung Palace, this event starts with the Donhwamun Gate opening and closing ceremony and offers the experience of touring the palace's main buildings with a lantern in hand. Walking across the Geumcheon Bridge, visitors can enjoy profound and clear performances of the daegeum (a traditional Korean flute) and court dance music in Nakseonjae and Yeongyeongdang. Additionally, the event introduces a special romantic experience with a 'flower path' illuminated by traditional pattern lighting along the palace's rear garden trails.
