Discover the Wonders of Korea at the 2024 My Country Travel Expo: A Bucket List Adventure Awaits

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of South Korea, in collaboration with the Korea Tourism Association Central Committee, is set to host the "2024 My Country Travel Expo" from March 28 to March 31 at the aT Center in Seoul. This year marks the 21st anniversary of the expo, which has attracted over 2.14 million visitors since its inception in 2004. The expo will feature 230 booths from 132 organizations and individuals, showcasing a wide range of travel information and products that highlight the attractions of various regions across the country.

The opening ceremony on March 28 will be attended by Second Vice Minister Jang Mi-ran, who will celebrate the expo's opening and engage with attendees to help fulfill their local travel "bucket lists." Minister Yu In-chon will visit the expo on March 31 to encourage local government and tourism industry representatives and discuss ways to invigorate regional tourism.

The expo will also offer a variety of side events, including travel story concerts, a Hanbok fashion show, experience events, and a special sale of travel products online on March 29 and 30. These products include various themed travel packages, such as a cycling tour around Jeju/Chuja Island, a healing trip in Jeongseon Romigian, a train trip to the historical city of Iksan, and a cherry blossom plogging trip in Hongseong, available at discounted prices for a limited time.

Additionally, in response to the increasing population of pet owners, the expo will provide a "pet stroller" rental service to support attendees wishing to visit the expo with their pets, ensuring a comfortable experience for both pets and their owners.

For more detailed information about the expo, interested parties can visit the official website and social media platforms. Minister Yu In-chon expressed hope that the expo will inspire visitors to dream of the joy of travel and discover unique personal travel experiences, emphasizing the government's commitment to supporting the development of distinctive tourism content that reflects the unique character and beauty of Korea's regions
