The 36th Yeoju Ceramic Festival From May 3rd to 12th, 2023, the '36th Yeoju Ceramic Festival' will be held at the Sinreuk Temple tourist area in Yeoju. The festival will showcase a variety of programs that can be enjoyed by all generations and will feature around 80 Yeoju ceramic businesses selling everything from everyday ceramics to artistic pieces.
There are numerous ceramic-related experiential programs prepared for the whole family to participate in, and special broadcast programs are also set up in celebration of Children's Day and Teacher's Day. The opening ceremony on May 3rd will kick off with spectacular performances, and throughout the festival, there will be live broadcasts of children's programs from EBS.
The festival is expected to greatly contribute to promoting the excellence of Yeoju ceramics and revitalizing local culture and tourism. Lee Soon-yeol, the chairman of the Yeoju Sejong Cultural Tourism Foundation, stated, "We will strive to enhance the cultural identity and image of Yeoju City and step up as a true cultural tourism festival."
